Richard Bissell's novel 7-1/2 Cents is brought to life by this funny, romantic, and fun-filled musical featuring Hopwell-Loudon's High School students. This musical features a score written by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross. The story deals with labor troubles and an iminent strike threat at the "Sleep-Tite" pajama factory, where worker demands for a seven-and-a-half-cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this story, love blossoms between Babe (Jennifer Lucius), the committee head, and Sid (Mitch Gosche), the new factory superintendent.
